About Statusfear Media
Statusfear Media was launched in early 2010, combining the music services of Midwest Movement and the design/creative services of Bradmadethis. The new company was created to put all services under one name, and to better serve existing and new clients.
Statusfear Media is owned and operated by Brad Gunnarson, who has over 10 years experience working in various areas of the music, design & retail industries. Brad’s introduction to the music industry was working with System Of A Down, coordinating a worldwide street promotion team for the band’s debut album and earning a Gold Record for his efforts. Brad also took an active role in artist development with a number of bands in the Midwest who went on to score record deals, such as: American Head Charge (American/Columbia), Devilinside (Abacus/Century Media), Index Case (No Name/Elektra), Align (33rd Street/Iguana), and Sunset Black (Bieler Bros./MCA).
The mission is simple: Work the hardest and smartest you possibly can to achieve goals. Build trusting relationships. Have passion for music and art.
Music
Every artist has different goals, and their needs to achieve those goals can vary. We work with our artists to determine those goals and needs, and put a plan in place to move forward. Whether it’s increasing their web presence, guiding their career decisions, or putting out a record together – we use our experience in all areas of the industry to further the career of the artist, with the artist in mind. We are firm believers that the music industry is not dead or dying, it is what you make out of it.
Services include: artist management, artist development, career guidance, marketing and promotion, press & public relations, industry networking, independent record label, merchandising, consignment, tour preparation, and more.
Design
Image might not be everything, but it counts for quite a bit. As with any “product”, you must be able to “sell” it. We feel it is extremely important to present your product (no matter what it is) in a light that represents your brand in order for you to maximize its potential. We’ll work with you from the ground up to help you find out who you want to be, where you want to go, and how to get there, all while looking your very best!
Services include: creative direction, album artwork, t-shirts & other merchandise items, logo & identity, concert & tour posters, social network profiles, and just about anything else you might need to promote your band or brand.
Online Zine
StatusfearMusic.com is a website dedicated to music news, new releases, and tour dates in the rock, metal, hardcore, alternative, and indie genres. We work closely with signed & unsigned bands, labels, and publicists to bring accurate and relevant information to our readers. We were previously known as midwestmovement.com, covering only bands from the Midwest, but have since expanded coverage. StatusfearMusic.com is a division of Statusfear Media.
